CARACTERISTICAS
The Series 9700/9800A ranges in size from 100
to 500 kVA. This product is merely an extension of the
2033C/2033A model. However, there are a few subtle differences
that should be pointed out.
The information below should help you in selecting your
UPS system:
Voltages:
208 Volt - Standard; 480 Input / Output—A matching
side car containing both the input and output transformer
is available as an adder. For the 225 kVA and below any
standard auto transformer with the correct 480:208 turns
ratio can be used in lieu of the matching input transformer
cabinet.
Batteries:
Any nominal voltage of 360 volts will work. Our standard
offering includes Johnson Controls, Yuasa, and Power Batteries
in matching cabinets. The Power batteries are also available
in non-matching standard cabinets. Any of the batteries
are also available on racks. For flooded cell batteries
the layout must include proper eye-wash stations, drainage,
and ventilation per the local laws and regulations.
DC
Disconnect: The UPS does not come standard with
a DC disconnect. Mitsubishi offers two Options when dealing
with the DC disconnect. The first option uses a wall mounted
DC disconnect in a NEMA 1 enclosure. The second option
involves a matching cabinet that houses the DC disconnect
along with convenient copper bus work to land the DC cables
from multiple battery cabinets. The second option adds
footprint and cost but the customer gets the added convenience
of landing the cables from the multiple cabinets. Either
option must use a disconnect with trip contacts to operate
properly with the UPS.
Software:
Mitsubishi has a line of software called "DiamondLink"
which performs network monitoring and controlled shutdown
of critical servers or computers. The software is available
for a wide range of operating systems, and the UPS is
compatible with SNMP protocol.
