CARACTERISTICAS
The Series 2033C/2033A DDC ranges in size from
7.5 to 75 kVA. The entire range of the 2033C/2033A includes
the state of the art active front end converter. This
converter utilizes Mitsubishi's Intelligent Power Module
(IPM) type Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT). The
IPM/IGBT (pictured in the 2033A Data Sheet) allows the
2033A to out perform any UPS available today. One of the
many advantages of the IPM type IGBT over conventional
IGBT's is that many of the sensing and control circuits
are integral to the component, eliminating the need for
numerous drive boards and ribbon cables. With this active
front end design the need for input harmonic filters is
no longer necessary. The Mitsubishi converter electronically
mitigates the harmonics reflected back towards the distribution
line.
The inverter also uses IPM/IGBT's which results in the
best non-linear load performance in the industry. Mitsubishi
has taken the exact same converter configuration and used
it in the inverter. This common configuration can be seen
by looking at one of the schematics. The only difference
between the two components is in the gate logic.
The
information below should help you in selecting your UPS
system:
Voltages:
208 Volt - Standard; 480 Input / Output—A matching
side car containing both the input and output transformers
is available as an adder. However, any standard auto transformer
that with the correct 480:208 turns ratio can be used
in lieu of the matching input transformer cabinet.
Batteries:
Any nominal voltage of 360 volts will work. Our standard
offering includes Johnson Controls, Yuasa, and Power Batteries
in matching cabinets. The Power batteries are also available
in non-matching standard cabinets. Any of the batteries
are also available on racks. For flooded cell batteries
the layout must include proper eye-wash stations, drainage,
and ventilation per the local laws and regulations.
Software:
Mitsubishi has a line of software called "Diamondlink"
which performs network monitoring and controlled shutdown
of critical servers or computers. The software is available
for a wide range of operating systems, and the UPS is
compatible with SNMP protocol.
